CHS DANCE RULES
Students and their dates must have “0” hours of discipline, no library fees, no overdue books, no bounced checks and satisfactory citizenship in order to be allowed to purchase a dance ticket.
Students may not be allowed to enter the dance after 9:00 p.m. Limousines and other vehicles are not allowed in the parking lot for student pick up until after 9:30 p.m. Once guests leave the dance they may not be allowed to re-enter.
GUESTS: If you are bringing a guest who does not attend CHS, the guest must complete the accompanying guest pass application form. Guests must be at least in the 9th grade and no older than 20 years unless approved by CHS administration. CHS students will be held responsible for the behavior of their non-CHS guest.
CALABASAS HIGH SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DENY ANY GUEST APPLICATION.
To enter the dance, CHS students MUST present a CHS ID card. All guests MUST have their Photo ID. If you do not have your ID, you may not be permitted into the dance. No Exceptions!
Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. Make sure that you buy your own ticket since the purchase information will be stored on the barcode of your student ID. No refunds will be given if a student is directed to leave before the end of the dance.
Security Policy: To help ensure the safety of all attendees, CHS will provide a licensed and bonded security company to do light pat downs and purse checks.
CHS Administration reserves the right to search students and their possessions prior to entering the venue. Limousines and other vehicles are subject to being searched.
School Policy: Students arriving to the dance under or suspected of being under the influence or in possession of alcohol or a controlled substance may not be admitted. Such students may be isolated immediately. If it is determined that the student is under the influence or in possession of alcohol or any controlled substance, a five (5) day suspension and a recommendation for expulsion from the Las Virgenes Unified School District will result. Furthermore, seniors may lose senior privileges, including participating in the commencement ceremony. Law enforcement will be called when necessary. A breathalyzer will be on site.
