Welcome to the NHS webpage!  Meetings are held on the
1st and 3rd Friday of the month during lunch in the
Lecture Hall.  Our ongoing Project is the staffing of the
CHS Tutoring Center Saturday mornings, 8:30 - 12:00 and at the
City of Calabasas Library Tuesday and Thursday
afternoons 3:30 -5:30.  Once again our seasonal projects will include: 

• Gift Wrapping at Barnes and Noble and a Teen Gift Drive at school.  The gifts collected and money raised will be used to
  provide Holiday gifts for Teens through the Food Pantry. 
• Books for Kids Book Drive.
• AP, ACT and SAT Book Drive

National Honor Society:  Applications available August 20, 2012

New member information meeting will be held on Friday September 16 if you have any questions feel free to drop into H106 during lunch.   Membership is open to 10th, 11th and 1st semester 12th grade students.  Please Listen to the announcements.  In order to join or continue membership you must submit the following:

4. Dues of $20.00 for the year.  

5. Authorization to tutor

6. $10.00 for Shirt (include size)

Hello Everyone!!!!

 The library will be the location of the NHS Tutoring Center Project.  Each member is expected to serve as a tutor.  The required hours are 25 per semester or 50 for the year!  The hours will be 8-12 each Saturday. if you can only come for a portion of the time that is perfectly OK.  We are opening the center October 3!  Please let me know if you can make it!
