Our School
In 2006 and 2008, Calabasas High School was awarded the National Blue Ribbon Award, an award that puts the school in the top ten percent of high schools in the state. In 2000, 2005, 2009 and 2013, Calabasas High School was named a California Distinguished School. We are proud very proud that our 2009 API score was 849. In 2017 we received a Silver Medal on the US News and World Report Best High Schools list.
Student Activities
Calabasas High School students are active in student government and leadership, clubs, drama presentations and musical performances, an award-winning instrumental music program, yearbook, school newspaper, and a highly competitive interscholastic sports league.
Special Features
Calabasas High School is on a schedule which includes two support days Wednesday and Thursday. On those days we have a Mandated Student Support periods for students with multiple D/F's. This support period offer students the opportunity to get the academic help they require from their teachers. Students earn autonomy for Support Period by having C's or better on each 5 week grading period.

- 1 year World History
- 1 year U.S. History
- 1 semester Government
- 1 semester Economics
Science: 2 years, 20 credits (1 year Life Science AND 1 year Physical Science)
Mathematics: 3 years, 30 credits
Freshman Seminar: 1 year, 10 credits
Physical Education or Sport: 2 years, 20 credits
Fine Art/ Practical Art/ World Language: 2 years Art OR Language, 20 credits
Electives: 12 semesters, 60 credits
Total Credits: 230 (must earn D or higher to earn credit)
Grading System
Letter grades of A, B, C, D, and F are used as well as P - Passed, NM - No Mark, I - Incomplete, WF - Withdraw Failing. School service is not calculated in GPA. A four-point scale is used: A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1, and F=0, except for certain identified Honors and Advanced Placement courses which receive: A=5, B=4, C=3.
