Emergency Procedures

Earthquake/Evacaution drills will be practiced by-annually in preparation for an emergency.  You can expect CHS to conduct various safety drills throughout the year.

EARTHQUAKE

During an earthquake, students should duck and cover before evacuating.  For all emergencies, remain calm,.  Do not panic or run out of the buildings.  Students are to remain on campus until released by school.

EVACUATION

Classes are evacuated to the upper fields and are supervised by teachers.  Should an emergency occur during lunch, nutrition, or support, students report to their 2nd period teacher's location on the upper field.  Evacuation routes are posted in each classroom.  The evacuation signal is a series of bells.
